NWA Inks New Deals for Young Stars

In a move to lock down some of their top tier talent. The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) has secured a few champions and fan favorites to long term deals. Billy Corgan continues to bolster his roster with young stars and champions.

The Champs Are Here… To Stay

Max the Impaler, the “Warlord of the Wasteland,” is the unified NWA Television Champion. The non-binary nightmare recently made their silver screen debut as a horror villain. They can now add contracted NWA superstars to the list. Max inked a deal, but without ink according to their twitter, to stay long term with the Billy Corgan-led promotion.

The current reigning and defending women’s tag team champions are also here to stay. Charity King and Danni Bee, “The King Bees,” won the belts and essentially were the catalyst that broke up the Pretty Empowered dynasty.

The pair of champions had successful runs as both a tag team and singles competitors, before landing in the NWA. They are also joining Max and others, as a long term member of the family.

NWA Chief Operating Officer Joe Galli would have this quote in the NWA News and Press release on their website.

“It’s an exciting time for the NWA, its talent and fans… The future of the National Wrestling Alliance is bright, and our growth over the last year has been incredible. “

Young Talent Sticking w/ the NWA

Former NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Colby Corino has also decided to stay in the company. The independent standout is the son of WWE coach and producer Steve Corino. Joining Corino is women’s division star Natalia Markova.

Both have inked new long term deals. Markova is a staple in the women’s division, as well as a competitor in the 2024 Crockett Cup with tag team partner Bryan Idol. Markova has a huge online following, bordering on the cult level of fandom. The online wrestling community can’t seem to get enough of her.

Her tag team partner Bryan Idol will also be staying with the promotion. Idol is one of the key promoters in the regional success of the NWA going back to the territories. Idol has had success outside the US, including title runs in Puerto Rico, helping broaden the NWA reach.

The NWA has a run of big shows scheduled this summer including NWA 76 at the historic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. All of the newly contracted talents can also be seen weekly on NWA Powerrr on Tuesdays on The CW
