WWE NXT Preview graphic of Michin and Jaida Parker

This week’s episode of WWE NXT will be the Heatwave go-home show. With the event taking place over Money in the Bank weekend, this can be expected to be one of the biggest events on NXT’s 2024 calendar.

The show will feature a street fight, some matches, as well as face-to-faces ahead of Heatwave. Here is all you need to know ahead of the July 2 NXT.

WWE NXT Full Match Card:

  • Street Fight: Jaida Parker vs. Michin
  • Singles Match: Carlee Bright vs. Wendy Choo
  • Singles Match: Brinley Reece vs. Izzi Dame
  • Tag Team Match: New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate) vs. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger
  • Tag Team Match: Tyson DuPont & Tyriek Igwe vs. Gallus (Wolfgang & Joe Coffey)

Jaida Parker and Michin Meet in a Street Fight

All roads lead to Heatwave but a feud that is already proving explosive is the one between Jaida Parker and Michin. The two have disdain with each other and, since their unsuccessful participation in the NXT Women’s North American Championship ladder match at Battleground, they have been laser-focused on each other.

On the July 2 NXT, tensions between Parker and Michin reach fever pitch as the two will clash in a street fight. This is an intriguing fight that could clear the path to gold for the victor.

Face-To-Face Ahead Of Heatwave

At time of writing, five matches have been confirmed for NXT Heatwave on Sunday, July 7. All five of those are title maches.
As such, it can be expected that the July 2 edition of NXT will feature several final face-to-face moments. Two have already been confirmed for the show.
NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and challenger Lola Vice are set to have a face-to-face. The four Superstars involved in the NXT Championship fatal-four-way (Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, Shawn Spears, and Ethan Page) are set to have their contract signing.
It can be expected that the other three matches will have their own variations of the face-to-face, as they look forward to the Heatwave event.
