#AndNew: Liv Morgan Aids Judgment Day Regain Titles

In last night’s Raw main event, we saw Finn Balor and JD McDonagh regain the World Tag Team titles from The Miz and R-Truth, with an assist from Liv Morgan. The team known as Awesome Truth climbed a ladder at WrestleMania XL to take these titles from Judgment Day.

However last night, thanks to Morgan, we saw Judgment Day reclaim what was once theirs.

Liv Morgan Manipulated R-Truth

Earlier in the night, Morgan spoke with R-Truth backstage. With some sweet-talking, she convinced R-Truth to talk with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce to book this match.

Still trying to seduce “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, Morgan turned to him to ask this favor. Truth was delighted to help his old buddy Carmella, who he believed Morgan to be, so the match was set.

Both Mysterio and Carlito of the Judgment Day were present ringside for the main event. Morgan came down, as well, to watch the match she played a role in creating.

After Carlito interfered by putting McDonagh’s leg on the bottom rope following the Skull Crushing Finale from Miz, Braun Strowman had enough. Mysterio and Carlito were chased off by the “Big SOB” to ensure an even match.

However, no one accounted for Morgan in the night’s final moments.

R-Truth almost had the match won with a Five Knuckle Shuffle to both of his opponents, but was distracted by Morgan on the apron. A friendly hug turned vicious when the Women’s World Champion dropped his neck on the top rope while the referee was dealing with McDonagh.

This attack allowed Balor to hit Coup de Gras on Truth and just like that, we had new World Tag Team Champions. McDonagh celebrated his first main roster title with Balor on the ramp.

Morgan joined the new champions and the three held their titles up together, to end Raw.

No one quite knows what Morgan’s strategy is but it is clear that the Revenge Tour is not over. Judgment Day member Rhea Ripley relinquished the Women’s World Championship due to a backstage attack from Morgan and has been absent from television since.

Morgan later won that title from Becky Lynch at King and Queen of the Ring. She wants to take everything from Ripley, who betrayed their friendship in 2022 and maliciously injured her last July.

Seducing Mysterio plays a role in the Revenge Tour, to take him away from Mami too. Mysterio has resisted Morgan’s advances towards him for the most part.

Assisting Balor and McDonagh win the tag team titles might give Morgan enough leverage to insert herself into the group. We will have to wait until next week’s Raw to find out.
