Wrestlers That NEED To Be In WWE Queen of the Ring 2025

Charlotte Flair

WWE recently crowned the second-ever Queen of the Ring, with Nia Jax picking up an emphatic victory over Lyra Valkyria in an excellent match at WWE King & Queen of the Ring 2024.

Although Jax’s reign as the resident monarch has only just begun, we’ve taken a look at some of the talent that ought to be featured in a potential 2025 edition of the tournament.

Charlotte Flair

You can’t have a Queen of the Ring tournament without the ‘Queen’ of WWE. Charlotte Flair has been away from WWE television since December 8th, 2023. After suffering an ACL, MCL, and meniscus tear, she was reportedly planning to spend at least nine months recovering.

Recent reports indicate that her recovery appears to be ahead of schedule, which is fantastic news for Flair. A triumphant return in late 2024 would send shockwaves through the WWE Women’s division.

By the time any future Queen of the Ring tournament rolls around, Charlotte should be one of the first names on the list for inclusion. She’d be a brilliant competitor to set the bar for all other entrants and a sure-fire contender for a potential winner.

Carmella

Speaking of competitors that have been away for a considerable amount of time, Carmella has been out of the ring since March 2023. She’s spent the last year on maternity leave but recently appeared during the build-up to WWE WrestleMania 40.

It’s seemingly unlikely that WWE fans will see the former ‘Staten Island Princess’ until the second half of 2024 at the earliest, but she would be a brilliant inclusion to a 2025 installment of the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Shayna Baszler

Earlier in 2024, Shayna Baszler featured in GCW’s Bloodsport X event, in an unprecedented crossover between GCW and WWE. Baszler was presented in a much more brutal, violent way than she has in recent times.

The ‘Queen of Spades’ should be presented as a menacing figure within the WWE Women’s division, especially with her MMA background. Her run as the dominant NXT Women’s Champion proved that she is at her best when presented as an unstoppable force.

She could use the 2025 tournament as a way of avenging her disappointingly brief run in the 2024 edition, seeking revenge on the women of WWE after falling short this year. Baszler ought to be included in the bracket and could utilise her more violent side to scratch and claw her way to the later stages of the tournament. Also, the prospect of a clash against her current tag team partner would be very intriguing…

Zoey Stark

As we said, Baszler could cross paths with her current tag partner. Zoey Stark would be an interesting entrant to a 2025 edition of the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Stark has put on some great matches with the likes of Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley in recent times, and she deserves an opportunity to redeem herself after failing to reach the final in the 2024 edition.

The parallels between her and Baszler are there, with both winning their first round and losing the second. If both women entered in 2025, they’d be perfectly poised for a collision in the later stages of the tournament.

Cora Jade

Yet another member of the WWE roster that’s away with a lengthy injury, Cora Jade suffered an ACL tear in early January. She seems to have her sights set on the NXT Women’s Championship and should certainly be involved in the title picture upon her return.

That being said, it would be great to see Jade make her debut on the main roster in 2025. She’d be a fine inclusion to the Queen of the Ring tournament and a welcome addition to either WWE Raw or SmackDown.

Her time on NXT has been enjoyable and she’s more than capable of mixing it up with the women on the main roster, so she would be a brilliant entrant to the tournament in 2025.

Also, at just 23 years old, she’s one of the hottest young stars in WWE and a run in the tournament could be a great way to showcase her as a star of the future.

Alexa Bliss

Since WWE Royal Rumble 2023, Alexa Bliss has been away from WWE. However, recent rumours seem to suggest that she may be returning imminently.

There have been teases on WWE television for the return of Uncle Howdy, as well as a group that’s been rumoured to include the likes of Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis and… Alexa Bliss.

Of course, even if Bliss returns as a member of the Wyatt faction, there is plenty of time between now and the potential Queen of the Ring tournament in 2025. That would give the former Ms. Money in the Bank enough time to revert back to a familiar persona.

Alexa Bliss has been one of the pillars of the WWE Women’s division ever since her call-up to the main roster in 2016, and deserves the chance to shine by potentially adding Queen of the Ring to her list of accolades.

Blair Davenport

Speaking of call-ups, Blair Davenport was brought to SmackDown during the 2024 WWE Draft, and bizarrely missed out on the Queen of the Ring tournament. She’s been a mainstay on NXT for the past two years, and deservedly made her way to the main roster in April.

The fact that she was snubbed for this year’s instalment of the tournament should be her motivation to enter and try to win the whole thing in 2025. Davenport’s work in NXT – and on the independent scene – clearly demonstrates her ability as a performer.

It was a mis-step of WWE’s not to include the Brit in the 2024 edition and they should rectify that by having Davenport in the 2025 Queen of the Ring tournament.

Sol Ruca

The final entry on this list is another current member of the NXT roster.

Sol Ruca, since returning from her ACL injury, has been one of the top performers in the NXT Women’s division. Her incredible in-ring talent has blown NXT fans away and she ought to be a shoe-in for a call-up in 2025.

Ruca would be an exciting addition to the Queen of the Ring tournament next year, perhaps even as the dark horse. She has the potential to go all the way and will inevitably find her way to the top of the card, so putting her into the tournament would make sense.

Let us know if there’s anyone else that deserves to be included in the 2025 Queen of the Ring tournament!
