This week’s episode of WWE NXT sees the beginning of the NXT Spring Breakin’ 2024 special. The first week of action will see two titles on the line, as well as several other matches. With the 2024 edition of the WWE Draft coming up, the NXT stars will be looking to prove themselves, and this show is as high-stakes as it can be. Trick Williams Cannot Miss Against Ilja Dragunov
A massive title fight with high stakes is set to headline week one of Spring Breakin’. Ilja Dragunov has granted Trick Williams a rematch for the NXT Championship but, this time, Williams just cannot miss. Should Williams lose this match, he will be forced to leave NXT. This is not ideal for Williams who has seen his stock within NXT rise in recent months and is on the brink of greatness.
For Dragunov, this is a way to look out for himself and make sure to vanquish his toughest challenger for good. This match, regardless of the outcome, will change the entire landscape of NXT moving forward.
Roxanne Perez Defends Gold In Triple Threat
Roxanne Perez has barely just passed two weeks into her second reign as the NXT Women’s Champion, and she faces quite a challenge ahead. On week one of Spring Breakin’, Perez finds herself in the crossfire of a friendship-turned-bitter rivalry, and her gold could be the collateral damage.
Former champion Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley will both serve as challengers to Perez, as she defends her title in a triple threat. With this match being extremely volatile, this will be a battle of who can keep a cool head so as to walk out of Spring Breakin’ the victor.
Sol Ruca And Blair Davenport Meet In A Beach Brawl
Sol Ruca and Blair Davenport are set to meet in a beach brawl. The two had a previous match on the April 2 edition of NXT, and this will be the rematch between the two. Seemingly being polar opposites, the two have taken issue with each other. Their rematch will have a different vibe, as it will be a beach brawl.
They look to resolve their building rivalry so that they can focus on the NXT Women’s North American Championship, which has a future that remains unclear at present.
