The Rock will come back to … Brooklyn for this week’s WWE Raw. WWE is advertising his appearance as ‘cataclysmic’. This means there will either be a large-scale and violent, upheaval; or the WWE copywriter doesn’t understand what cataclysmic means.

The Rock Comes Back To … WWE Raw
January 1, 2024. Wrestling fans were nursing headaches from New Year’s Eve, unprepared that what was left of their minds was about to be blown.
The Rock returned at Raw WWE Day 1. “The Great One” dropped a not-so-subtle hint that he wanted a match with his cousin Roman Reigns when he asked if he should sit at ‘the head of the table’.
The Rock’s surprise return was a signal of things to come. WWE would hit form. A conspiracy between Roman Reigns and The Rock to headline WrestleMania 40 was derailed by Cody Rhodes. There’s been a couple of slaps exchanged between Rock and Rhodes. A Rock concert, epic and explicit social media promos, and even a rendition of You’re Welcome from Moana.
The Rock and Reigns will make a final stop to hype ‘The Biggest Tag Team match in WrestleMania history’ against Rhodes and Seth Rollins. Anything could happen.

WWE Raw Match Card
The final WWE Raw before WrestleMania 40 features multiple superstars looking to gain momentum to ride into the weekend.
Sami Zayn’s attempt to silence those who think he can’t beat Gunther at WrestleMania 40 fell on deaf ears when he lost to Bronson Reed last week. Zayn will attempt to block out the noise and avenge that loss in a rematch this week.
The New Day and #DIY were putting on an enjoyable tag match last week before The Judgement Day turned it into a beatdown. This week, the two teams will combine to face the entire The Judgement Day in an 8-man tag match.
But with three of the six teams set to compete in the WrestleMania 40 6-team WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship ladder match, perhaps we should expect to see interference from The Miz & R-Truth, New Catch Republic or Grayson Waller & Austin Theory.
Candice LaRae and Indi Hartwell will battle Maxxine Du Pri and Ivy Nile. LaRae is the odd one out here as her nefarious ways have been irritating both her opponents and her tag team partner. Could it all come to a head tonight?
