A WWE NXT match graphic.

This week’s episode of WWE NXT was pre-taped on February 13. The event was set to feature two title matches, as well as other matches. This is a spoiler-free preview of the event. Here is all you need to know ahead of the February 20 edition of NXT.

WWE NXT Full Match Card:

  • Oba Femi (c) vs. Lexis King – NXT North American Championship Match
  • Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Shotzi – NXT Women’s Championship Match
  • Roxanne Perez vs. Wren Sinclair – Singles Match
  • Lash Legend vs. Kelani Jordan – Singles Match

Oba Femi Defends The NXT North American Championship

Oba Femi continues his reign as the NXT North American Champion, holding the gold for over 40 days at time of writing. On the February 13 edition of NXT, Femi addressed the audience and sent a warning to any and all challengers.

Despite that, Lexis King decided to step up and was granted a match for this week. On February 20, King will get the opportunity to attempt to dethrone one of the most dominant NXT titleholders in recent memory but it will not prove to be an easy task.

Shotzi Shoots Her Shot At The NXT Women’s Championship

SmackDown‘s Shotzi will get a shot at Lyra Valkyria‘s NXT Women’s Championship this week, following her request for it on the February 13 NXT. Shotzi, although being on the SmackDown roster for a number of years now, has remained close to the NXT brand, making sporadic appearances every once in a while.

Shotzi looks to get her first taste of singles gold in the WWE but she challenges a champion who is determined to etch her name into the annals of wrestling history, for which she needs to keep the title. This clash between Valkyria and Shotzi will come down to who wants it more.
