Preview: WWE Raw (2/12/24) – Elimination Chamber Qualifiers / Imperium vs. Jey Uso & New Day

A WWE Raw match graphic.

Multiple Men and Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifiers will take place on WWE Raw, this Monday (2/12/24). WWE Raw emanates from Louisville, Kentucky and looking at the match card there’s little doubt it’ll be anything other than ‘finger-lickin’ good’.

Match Card (WWE Raw 2/12/24)

  • “Imperium” Gunther, Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser vs.  Jey Uso, “The New Day” Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston
  • Bobby Lashley vs. “Big” Bronson Reed in an Elimination Chamber Qualifier
  • LA Knight vs. Ivar in an Elimination Chamber Qualifier
  • Liv Morgan vs. Zoey Stark in an Elimination Chamber Qualifier
  • R-Truth vs. JD McDonagh

Elimination Chamber Men’s Qualifiers

Bronson Reed and Bobby Lashley will battle in a bout of big meaty men on WWE Raw. The winner, or the meatiest man, will get a spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match in Perth, Australia on February 24. Ivar and LA Knight will also face off on Raw to gain entry into the structure in Australia.

Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre have already qualified for the Chamber match. On paper, the smart money would be on Lashley and LA Knight joining them. But as Reed is Australian if he isn’t in the Chamber match whoever is booking it is a drongo.

The winner of the WWE Elimination Chamber will challenge World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins at WrestleMania 40.

Women’s Elimination Chamber

A lot came out of the WrestleMania Kickoff event last week. The Rock and Roman Reigns are going to be excellent to watch as heels over the next two months. Cody is getting his match with Roman. A section of Cody’s fans are now christened #Codycrybabies. WWE Speed is coming to X. And Big E looks and smells great.

Also, and more relevant to this piece, WWE is building to Becky Lynch winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber and facing Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40. With that in mind you’d be forgiven for not worrying too much about the outcome of Liv Morgan vs. Zoey Starkz in a winner gets a place in said Elimination Chamber match. But both women have hyped this match up excellently. Liv wants revenge on Rhea for putting her on the shelf for six months so wants to win the Chamber and face her at WrestleMania. Zoey is pissed that people keep overlooking her.

Imperium vs. Jey Uso and The New Day

Six top level superstars will go to war in a match guaranteed to deliver. If you’ll allow me one more KFC pun as Raw takes place in Kentucky, the six-man tag match is surely the Bargain bucket on the card.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have had issues with Imperium since last Autumn. But Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci have used their number advantage to constantly come out on top.

Jey Uso announced his desire to be the man to ply the WWE Intercontinental Championship away from Gunther. This means that now – despite a long rivalry between The New Day and the Usos – Jey will team up with Kingston and Woods.

Miz vs. JD McDonagh

The Miz nailed arguably his best Skull Crushing Finale last week on Raw. He hit JD McDonagh with the move whilst the Irishman was holding a wad of cash R-Truth had just distracted him with. This meant when JD hit the canvas the cash went flying everywhere to the delight of everyone. Obz JD is gutted about it so will aim for some retribution this week when he faces R-Truth one-on-one.
