There are only two more episodes of Fusion before MLW’s Fightland supercard on Saturday, November 18th. More matches are expected to be made official and big developments lie ahead in the World Heavyweight Championship picture on this week’s show. But first…
Last week on MLW Fusion:
The World Titan Federation’s promoter and manager, Saint Laurent, gifted his favorite client, Matt Cardona, a brand-new BMW. Cardona has a World Heavyweight Championship shot at MLW’s One Shot supercard. Laurent gifted Cardona the car as an early victory present.
Ahead of challenging the MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Kane at Fightland, Jacob Fatu was supposed to face Kane’s enforcer and corner man, Mr Thomas. However, Thomas was assaulted in the parking lot and sent to the hospital. While Kane raged and fingers were pointed at Fatu, the camera caught Saint Laurent handing out a bribe. The implication being Cardona did it. Fatu elsewhere had a different plan. The shoe ended with Kane confronting Cardona in the parking lot and Fatu stealing Cardona’s new BMW.
Elsewhere, MLW World Tag Team Championships remain with The Calling after a brutal double tables match. The Second Gear Crew were unable to gain the championships. The match ended when Matthew Justice powered through an octopus hold by Akira on the top rope and propelled both men through the two tables below. The referee called for a draw. In the post-match promo, Justice challenged the champions to a ladder match!
What to expect on MLW Fusion:

MLW Featherweight Champion in Action:
Promociones Dorado’s impresario, Selina de la Renta, has promised the first appearance and match of the new MLW Featherweight Champion, Janai Kai. Kai won the championship from Deli Exo at MLW Slaughterhouse back in October.
MLW World Heavyweight Champion and Challenger Meet:
In the build-up to Fightland’s World Heavyweight Championship match, Bomaye Fight Club Promoter, Don King, will speak on Kane’s challenge. Jacob Fatu was the longest reigning MLW World Heavyweight Champion and posed a significant threat to Kane’s reign of dominance.
Also, as suggested by MLW Fusion’s YouTube page, there will be a contract signing for the Fightland main event. Given the high stakes and last week’s attack on Mr Thomas, what tension might boil over between the champion and challenger?
There will likely be an update on the condition of Mr Thomas. Thomas as a variable has had a significant impact on Kane’s reign so far. Will he return this evening or before Fightland?
Also, given Jacob Fatu stole Matt Cardona’s new car, will Cardona and the World Titan Federation seek revenge?
Fallout from Last Week’s World Tag Team Championship Match:
MLW has confirmed at Fightland it will be a ladder match for the MLW World Tag Team Championships: The Calling vs. The Second Gear Crew. How will the Calling respond? Last week the champions showed signs of dissent. Will the tension continue? Or will the champions be able to get back on the same page?
