Preview: NWA Powerrr (10/10/23) – NWA World TV Title Tournament Finals

NWA Powerrr just keeps on rockin’ and rolling on its way to its month-ending pay-per-view known as NWA Samhain. This week will be business as usual meaning, it’ll be another heart-pumping edition of the National Wrestling Alliance’s premier Tuesday night program on YouTube. A new champion will be crowned on this night and a lot more in store for the NWA Nation!

Since the implosion of The Spectaculars, brothers Rush and Rolando Freeman have been trying to get on the winning path for a month now, to no avail. This week, they’re gonna have another shot at setting their course right as they take on Southern Six members Alex Taylor and former NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion Kerry Morton, with his father Ricky Morton at ringside.

On last week’s NWA Powerrr, Southern Six big man “Thrilbilly” Silas Mason retained his title against Dak Draper. This momentous victory definitely lit a fire under both Morton and Taylor and will look to continue the winning ways of the group. Unfortunately, this may spell disaster for the Freemans as they take on a ruthless team with a lot of momentum on their side.

Will the Southern Six notch another win or will the Freeman brothers end their dry spell?

The New King of TV

With both men going to hell and back by winning a four-way match respectively, Zicky Dice and Mims will have their final showdown this week to crown the new NWA World Television Champion. On last week’s Powerrr, Dice had some disparaging words for ‘Big Strong’ Mims. The former TV champ stated that Mims was a ‘nobody’ when he was winning the TV Title in the early days of NWA Powerrr.

While he might have made a name for himself since then, Zicky stated, the ‘Outlandish’ one is not back to give handouts but to reclaim the title he once held so dearly. Mims was not discouraged by any means, saying that William Patrick Corgan gave him a shot as a young upstart and he didn’t let that opportunity go to waste. For this chance? Mims will make sure that he walks away with his first taste of NWA gold.
