TNT Set For Espiritu Dojo Debut in Puerto Rico

The team of TNT in AEW.

The tag team known as TNT, Terrell & Terrence Hughes, the sons of WWE producer and one half of the legendary tag team Team 3D/The Dudley Boys, are set to make their debut for the growing school/promotion in Puerto Rico: Espiritu Pro Wrestling Dojo. They are slated to take on the first EPW Tag Team Champions, “Fuerza Recia” (roughly translates to ‘Strong Force’). Composed of ‘Reckless’ Harry Williams and second generation wrestler Baltazar Bruno at the upcoming “Copa Vikingo” (Vikingo Cup) on August 20th from the Espiritu Dojo in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Oh these brothers, testify!

This is not TNT’s first time on the island, as they have competed several times for Ground Zero Wrestling. A smaller group on the island that has brought in many talents from the United States over the past few years.

EPW’s upcoming “Copa Vikingo” event is set to feature a 5 vs 5 Elimination style match to grant the titular Vikingo Cup. Salvador “El Vikingo” Pérez is the grandfather of EPW’s senseis Mike & Chris Mendoza. As well as a renowned figure in Puerto Rico. First starting as a wrestler, before becoming a prominent referee for Capitol Sports Promotion/World Wrestling Council in its 80s heyday.

Following his retirement, he would launch the “Vikingo Power Gym” and go on to train many of the island’s wrestlers. When he also retired as a trainer, he passed alongside his gym to his grandsons. Who have re-structured into the Espiritu Pro Wrestling Dojo school/promotion it is today.

TNT will be the second set of challengers for Fuerza Recia. Who won the inaugural Championship at EPW’s “Wrestling Machina” (Wrestling Machine) event. They defeated the team of Niche & Felix Aldea in the third of their now four-match rivalry. The fourth match of the said feud being the first defense of the titles at EPW’s recent event, “No Actors, Wrestlers” this past July 30th.

The tandem of ‘Fuerza Recia’ are seen as major prospects on the island. Due to Baltazar Bruno’s imposing size, second-generation status, and developing athleticism. Harry William’s very noted intensity as well as a major affinity for the ’90s All Japan Pro Wrestling. Similar to Eddie Kingston. Who he touts as an inspiration. Their recent match with Felix Aldea and Niche at ‘No Actors, Wrestlers‘ can be seen as one of the best tag team matches produced on the island in years.
