NJPW STRONG will be making their long-awaited Japanese debut in Korakuen Hall for the upcoming Independence Day holiday next month with two shows featuring the roster of NJPW STRONG along with various members of the regular New Japan Pro Wrestling roster and some surprises.
The NJPW STRONG Openweight & Tag Team Championships will be defended during both of these shows and here is the talent info announced so far for the doubleheader in Japan next month.
KENTA will make his first defense of the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship against Eddie Kingston in a first-time-ever singles match and this will for sure deliver fireworks on the American holiday tour.
This also serves as a preview for the upcoming G1 Climax 33 tournament happening soon with the largest entry field of 32. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Fred Rosser, Tom Lawlor, JR Kratos, Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs, Lance Archer, Bad Dude Tito, Alex Zayne, Rocky Romero, The DKC, Hirooki Goto / YOSHI-HASHI, and many more names will be announced leading into July.
