Aussie, Aussie, Aussie
On Dynamite, after Orange Cassidy was successful in defending his AEW International Championship against Daniel Garcia, he stood by to watch the Best Friends and Bandido challenge The House Of Black for the Trios titles. However as it concluded, he was attacked. His joke about holding three titles in his backpack wound up being foreshadowing. As standing over him holding three titles was Kyle Fletcher. The current STRONG and Heavyweight Tag Team Champion in New Japan wound up being a standout in this year’s New Japan Cup after the leader of the United Empire, Will Ospreay, had to bow out due to injury. Fletcher is now set to take on Action Andretti as we await the date for the very likely Fletcher vs Cassidy International title match.
Pinky’s Up
Former multi-time Impact! Knockout’s Champion and former NWA Women’s Champion Alyssin Kay is set to compete tonight on AEW Rampage. Competing in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan, she’s set to take on the former AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm of The Outcasts. As Toni prepares herself to team with the rest of The Outcasts on Dynamite to face off against Dr. Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida and current Women’s World Champion Jaime Hayter, she’ll have a strong challenge from the veteran wrestler.
Scissor Me Timbers
The Acclaimed together with ‘Daddy Ass’ Billy Gunn have been growing as a trio. Already winning the Tres De Mayo Battle Royal and the act already being fully embraced by the AEW crowds long before, it’s a match made in heaven to now see all three working in the ring together. They take on the gate keeping trio of The Butcher, The Blade and Kip Sabian. The trio coming together on Dark and Elevation prior to the culmination and end of the two YouTube shows.
Moguls vs Misfits
The ever loved team of Alex Reynolds and John Silver return to TV after being attacked by the Blackpool Combat Club and they’re right back to taking on big groups. This time, they face off against the leader and heavy of the Mogul Affiliates, Swerve Strickland and ROH Six Man title holder Brian Cage.
All that and more tonight, on a special Saturday edition of AEW Rampage at 10pm.
