Making a Strong Impression

To quote Excalibur, what an arrival for Roderick Strong. The “Messiah of the Backbreaker” made his presence felt in a big way as he came to the aid of his long-time friend and running mate Adam Cole, as well as Orange Cassidy and Bandido.

Now, he is officially #AllElite. Strong joins Cole’s battle against Chris Jericho and his appreciation society. And, this week, all eight of the competitors mentioned will meet in the ring as they square off in an 8-Man Tag Team affair. If last week was anything to go by, this war between Adam Cole and Chris Jericho has become much bigger and more personal, and this match Wednesday night is the first of many battles fans will witness.

It’s a tag team match for the ages and marks Roderick Strong’s in-ring AEW debut. Don’t miss it this Wednesday night!

A Wrench in the Plans of the “Salt of the Earth”

As everyone knows, MJF will stop at nothing to remain the holder of the AEW World Championship. Unfortunately, his insistence on main eventing Double or Nothing with Sammy Guevara may have backfired. Last week’s episode saw a fast and furious back and forth between Guevara and Darby Allin, with Sammy performing one of the most amazing 630 Sentons anyone would ever see, to determine the number one contender.

Everything was going smoothly until MJF inserted himself into the match, employing his nefarious tactics to get Allin disqualified. Sammy thought it was all done, and he and the World Champion celebrated the success of their plan to manipulate things to their favor. However, they had another thing coming.

Tony Schiavone announced that due to the dubious circumstances in which Guevara won, AEW higher-ups are giving Darby and “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry another chance to make the main event at the huge May pay-per-view a “Pillar Four-Way” match. All they have to do is co-exist next week as a team, as they take on both Guevara and MJF in a tag team match.

With tensions running high on both ends, who will come out on top? Everything goes down this Wednesday, AEW Dynamite, only on TBS!
