During the last episode of IMPACT Wrestling, new World Tag Team Champions were crowned in the Knockouts division. The Coven ( Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King ) got a huge upset win over Death Dollz ( Rosemary & Taya Valkyrie ) to win the Knockouts World tag team titles. With this change happening, Taya is now signed with All Elite Wrestling and more than likely the next TBS champion. The promotion is currently building towards three iPPV specials coming up in the next month or so ( Sacrifice, Multiverse United, Rebellion ). Both the PPV specials for later this month are pretty stacked especially the co-produced IMPACT Wrestling/NJPW outing from Los Angeles.
The State of IMPACT Wrestling
Jordynne Grace will get her contractual rematch against current Knockouts World champion Mickie James on March 24th during the Sacrifice iPPV. The build so far has been good. Jordynne has a visual submission over the champion but it didn’t count since Mickie tapped after their Hard to Kill match Masha Slamovich is still causing problems for the Knockouts World Champion, she and Bully Ray tried to sneak attack Mickie but were thwarted by IMPACT’s resident “Old School Enthusiast” Tommy Dreamer.
A tag match between both sides is happening next Thursday on the weekly IMPACT airing along with Deonna Purrazzo in singles action against Savannah Evans. Time Machine will be facing Deaner and associates in a trios outing along with IMPACT Digital Media champion Joe Hendry in tag team action against Moose/Brian Myers.
