#AndNEW: CMD Wins CZW Tag Team Championship

Sunday, March 5 will go down in history as a new chapter for Combat Zone Wrestling. This will be known as the day that titles returned and a brand new tag team was crowned champions. This will also be a day that Desean Pratt, Boom Harden and the entire locker room will remember because on this day, CMD can say they are the only people in CZW holding gold.

Fans packed the house for what would be an incredible show that was capped off by the 12th Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Ladder Match featuring 4 of the top tag teams on the independent scene. The Rep, Post Game, CMD and Milk Chocolate would square off in a hellacious match that nobody walked away from unscathed.

“I’m definitely feeling the effects right now,” says Miami Mike Walker, one day removed from the match. “That was a real CZW style match.”

CMD has made quite the impact in CZW over the last year and they don’t show signs of letting up anytime soon. Neither member has ever held gold in CZW until now. Desean Pratt has been with the company on and off for 6 years and is currently one of the trainers at the CZW academy. Boom Harden started at CZW in 2016 and has really taken off in his time with the company.

“One year ago CMD was formed and we have been trailblazing on the path to tag team supremacy since day one.” explains an ecstatic Pratt. “I knew teaming with Boom was exactly the something that was missing. As you can see two of us put together is MONEY! We talk that talk, walk that walk, we gets down WAAAAAAY before we lay down. That’s exactly why we are your new CZW World Tag Team Champions. With those attributes and the whole entire city of Camden, NJ on our backs we ain’t gonna fold. We gon’ continue holding it down and show not just the Combat Zone Wrestling tag scene, but the entire tag scene worldwide, that CMD has BEEN on ya’ll asses! It’s only a matter of time before we get our names mentioned with the great tag teams before us. Just watch and that’s on GEE OH DEE!”

“I feel amazing.” Harden continues, “It’s very special to win the CZW Tag Team Championship. First team to win the titles since the relaunch, to win them in the Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Ladder match, and to win them with Desean. I envision this title reign to be filled with classic matches that build the legacy of CMD, but at the end of the day, CMD is absolutely the best tag team in CZW.”
