Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Ladder Match Return To Combat Zone Wrestling

Chri$ Ca$h

In August of 2005, the independent wrestling world was shaken by the death of young up-and-coming star Chri$ Ca$h after a motorcycle accident took his life. At only 23 years old, he had already been a CZW Tag Team Champion and the sky was the limit for his potential.

The show following his death was on September 10th, 2005. The show was a memorial in his honor, but the main event was a four-way ladder match that would start the tradition of the Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Ladder Match. Over the years, there have been 11 of these matches and the tradition continues on March 5th, in Havre de Grace, Maryland at Limelight 14. This 12th edition of the match will also bring the return of Tag Team gold to the Combat Zone.

Since returning to action in late 2021, there have been no titles in CZW. There has been an announcement that the winner of the upcoming Best of the Best tournament will be crowned the new CZW World Champion, but this will bring the first official title holders of the new era of CZW.

This is sure to be a crowd-pleasing match as four of the top tag teams in the company will compete head-to-head for the brand-new title belts. Post Game (Miami Mike Walker and Vinny Talotta), The Rep (Nate Wallace and Dave McCall), CMD (Desean Pratt and Boom Harden), and Milk Chocolate (Brandon Watts and Randy Summers) will all be fighting to climb the ladder and get their hands on the titles. This is more than just tag titles they are fighting for. This is the opportunity to go down in history as the first team to bring gold back to the Combat Zone post-pandemic.
