The final WWE event of the year comes in the form of WWE SmackDown tonight as John Cena returns to action for the first time since SummerSlam 2021 to team with Kevin Owens against The Bloodline‘s Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.

JOHN CENA IS HOME and on WWE SmackDown tonight!
The Hollywood star has returned from the “Peacemaker” set to guarantee he wrestles a match in 2022, something all WWE fans can celebrate. And not only that, he will do it while teaming with Kevin Owens in “The Prizefighter’s” fight with The Bloodline. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has had his problems with both men while Sami Zayn is doing all he can to combat the idea that he and Owens are still friends in any way. There’s no doubt that this match is not only the biggest TV match of the year for WWE but it might as well be seen as the biggest WWE match of the year.
Any time Cena is around these days, we know it’s important. Will he have what it takes after over a year off to aid Owens in his fight? We’ll have to wait and see.
Ronda Rousey Looks To Defend Her Championship Against Raquel Rodriguez
Ronda Rousey will make her third defense of the SmackDown Women’s Championship as Raquel Rodriguez challenges. This match has been building over the past number of weeks with Rousey and Shayna Baszler making it their goal to make Rodriguez’s life a living hell. The challenger, however, managed to win a Gauntlet Match one week ago to earn the opportunity at “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” with the intention to become SmackDown Women’s Champion for the first time in her career.
Can Rodriguez fend off Rousey and Baszler or will the champion continue her reign of terror over the SmackDown Women’s Division?
Sheamus and Solo Sikoa Battle
The battles between The Brawling Brutes and The Bloodline are far from over as the leader of the Brutes, Sheamus, takes on Solo Sikoa in a hard-hitting hoss fight.
Sheamus had maybe the best year of his career in 2022 despite being unable to capture the Intercontinental Championship. With 2023 right around the corner, this will be a match he wants to win to keep his momentum going into the new year and (hopefully) get back to Gunther and the one championship he hopes to win before calling it a career. “The Celtic Warrior” vs. “The Enforcer.” What’s not to love about the latest edition of “Fight Night” on WWE SmackDown tonight?
