Full Gear marked one of the most memorable and exciting nights in the brief history of All Elite Wrestling. The #AllElite fans were treated to a historic night that saw title changes, replayable moments, outstanding bouts, and the crowning moment of “The Devil” himself MJF as he immortalizes himself in the wrestling record books by beating Jon Moxley to become the AEW World Champion.

This Wednesday night on Thanksgiving Eve, we deal with that fallout from Full Gear. And, folks, it’s going to be a wild one. With all that said, let’s preview the action going down on this week’s AEW Dynamite card. It’s Wednesday night after all, and you know what that means! It’s time to run it down!

The Gauntlet Begins

The Elite made their triumphant return to AEW at Saturday’s Full Gear. They squared off against Death Triangle for the coveted AEW World Trios Championship. All six men absolutely showed out and tore the house in a show-stealing bout that had everyone in the arena, and at home, at the edge of their seats.

Unfortunately for The Elite, when the dust settled, Death Triangle walked away with a tremendous, but ultimately tainted win, to retain their World Trios Titles. However, fortunately for the fans, this is not a one-time deal. It is now official; Death Triangle will face off against The Elite in a “Best of 7 Series,” and whoever gets to four wins first will walk away with the titles in hand.

What a treat for professional wrestling fans. Before this series is all over, we may have a couple or more, classic bouts on our hands. It’s match number two, Death Triangle leads 1-0 over The Elite! Will Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks knot it up with one a piece? Or will the trio of Penta El Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix, and PAC lead 2-0 heading into the third bout?

An Absolute Battle

After a grueling tournament, two men remain to fight it out for a shot at the AEW World Title at Winter Is Coming, and that’s Ethan Page and “Absolute” Ricky Starks. Both competitors laid it all out in the ring with Page defeating the likes of Eddie Kingston and Bandido to secure his spot in the finals.

While Ethan Page by no means cruised through this tourney, Ricky Starks may have had a tougher road on his way to the ultimate showdown.

Starks had to battle through injury and still defeated behemoths like “The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer, and his former Team Taz teammate “The Machine” Brian Cage. Ricky has a chip on his shoulder that kept him going, and it will take a lot to keep him down. However, Page has the advantage, considering he’s operating at full health and heck of a lot of momentum.

Who will punch their ticket to Winter is Coming? Find out this Wednesday night on the AEW Dynamite card only on TBS!
