Wardlow will defend his AEW TNT Championship on Friday’s AEW Rampage when he takes on the Kingdoms Matt Taven. Taven made his AEW debut alongside Mike Bennett & Maria Kanellis two weeks ago on the October 14 episode of AEW Rampage. This will mark his first match in AEW. Wardlow will be looking for his sixth title defense of the TNT Championship and the first since he defeated Brian Cage on the October 5 Dynamite.
Plus, After picking up a win over Chris Jericho & Daniel Garcia on Wednesday’s Dynamite, the Blackpool Combat Club duo of Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta will take on 2point0 (Matt Menard & Angelo Parker).
AEW also announced that Tay Melo would face Madison Rayne. The two are embroiled in a feud also involving Melo’s teammate Anna Jay AS and Rayne’s new friend Skye Blue. This is likely the first step in a bigger feud between the two pairings.
