Joe Hendry has signed with IMPACT Wrestling. Hendry promised to motivate Impact Wrestling in a vignette designed to hype his impending debut. The former ROH man has almost a decade of experience under this belt as a pro wrestler.

IMPACT Wrestling ran the first vignette for Joe Hendry on September 15. The video begins with a chair being thrown across the room and a family sitting in a hospital room with a loved one in a coma. There were cries of “he threw a chair” and “he’s covered in bite marks,” before the man in a coma began to attempt to speak, but before he could say a name, Joe Hendry, Local Hero, burst through the door and began singing about how he was coming to motivate IMPACT.
Before Ring of Honor closed down at the end of 2021, Joe Hendry was a part of the promotion. Hendry initially made his name on the UK indie scene, specifically for Scotland’s Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW). He also had a stint with the revamped World of Sport and the now-defunct Defiant Wrestling.
Claims of bite marks and chair throwing bear similarities to the conflict between The elite and CM Punk that transpired after All Out 2022. Hendry has always carved out a spot for himself with his observational humor and witty songs, which IMPACT fans will no doubt be acquainted with soon.
