AEW Dark Elevation spoilers are here. Read below for more.
This week, AEW aired live from the MVP Arena in Albany, NY. In addition to Dynamite, AEW taped this Friday’s episode of Rampage and Monday’s episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, set to air on September 19th. The show included some strong matches as Private Party, Nyla Rose, Frankie Kazarian, and The Butcher and Blade were in action.
The card also featured the first action of Dalton Castle and The Boys since the three won the Ring of Honor World Six-Man Championship at Death Before Dishonor in July. While the Boys have appeared on Dark Elevation before, this was Castle’s first-time on the Monday night program, and his first time teaming with the Boys in an AEW ring. And, for the first time in a while, there was a major debut on Elevation as the wrestler formerly known as Gran Metalik in WWE, Mascara Dorada, made his first appearance in AEW.
It was a packed show for sure. Here are the spoilers and results for this Monday’s episode of AEW Dark: Elevation.
WARNING: This article contains spoilers for the September 19th episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, as reported by individuals who attended the taping. If you do not wish to know the results of the matches that were taped, please do not continue reading.

Who is Mascara Dorada?
Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, Mascara Dorada is a 33-year-old luchador who has been wrestling for over 15 years. Dorada began his career primarily wrestling in Mexico for CMLL, where he is a seven-time champion. Thanks to CMLL’s partnership with NJPW, Dorada made his international debut in 2010, wrestling in both CMLL and NJPW for parts of the next six years. In 2016, Dorada took part in the first-ever Cruiserweight Classic, where he reached the finals, narrowly losing out to TJP. Following that tournament, Metalik signed with WWE as part of the roster for 205 Live.
Primarily used for 205 and the house show circuit, Metalik found success on the main roster when he began teaming with Kalisto as Lucha House Party. In 2020, as 205 Live folded, Metalik and Kalisto joined the SmackDown roster. The following year, they wrestled mainly on Raw as well as took part in NXT‘s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, losing in the quarterfinals to Legado del Fantasma. Just over a year ago to the day, Metalik wrestled his last match in WWE as he requested and was granted his release in November 2021.
