In the finals of the WWE Tag Team Championship tournament, the team of Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah defeated fellow finalists of IYO SKY and Dakota Kai, after interferences from the likes of Bayley being stopped by the team of WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair and partners for Clash at the Castle, Asuka and Alexa Bliss.

For Raquel Rodriguez, this is her third total Tag Team title with two of them being won at NXT alongside Dakota Kai. Raquel is a former NXT Women’s Champion, and with this win, it’s Raquel’s first official main roster title, as well as her first title since losing the NXT tag team championship against Toxic Attraction’s Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolan.
As for Aliyah, this is her first-ever championship in WWE. Aliyah first appeared on WWE as a prominent individual on the short-lived WWE Network series Breaking Ground. Nhooph Al-Areebi has been in WWE since 2015, as a member of the NXT roster, having stints in WWE’s developmental and main rosters, Aliyah would officially be a member of the Smackdown roster being drafted back in 2021. Aliyah holds the record for the shortest victory in WWE history at 3.17 seconds for a win over long-tenured superstar, Natalya Neidhart.
The team of Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez had defeated Xia Li and Shotzi in the first round.
After a concussion by Gigi Dolan left out the team of Toxic Attraction, a last chance match gave the team of Natalya and Sonya Deville a second chance, however, would be foiled by Rodriguez and Aliyah advancing them to the finals.
Their opponents Sky and Kai would defeated Tamina and Dana Brooke in the first round. The second round would have the team defeat Alexa Bliss and Asuka in an upset over two former WWE Women’s Championships in their own right.
