It’s time for AEW Dark, and with nine matches set for this evening, it will be a fun night of action. Best Friends are in action tonight as they take on Ren Jones and former IMPACT Wrestling X Division Champion Rohit Raju. Speaking of Best Friends, Orange Cassidy is looking to rebound from his loss to Jay Lethal as he faces The Workhorsemen’s Anthony Henry. Our focus on tonight’s AEW Dark, though, will be on Jericho Appreciation Society’s newest member Anna Jay A.S. as she takes on Megan Meyers.

Anna Jay A.S. vs. Megan Meyers
After joining the Jericho Appreciation Society and adding A.S. to her last name, Anna Jay A.S. is riding the biggest wave of momentum in her career. Megan Meyers looks to not only steal that momentum but score her first win inside of an AEW ring in the process.
Meyers has improved with every outing she’s had inside of an AEW ring and most certainly looks like she could receive the All Elite treatment at some point. Unfortunately, tonight will not be her night as Anna’s momentum is too much. She has really come into her own as a singles competitor, having only lost to TBS Champion Jade Cargill and Serena Deeb this year.
That alone would be enough to make Anna the favorite, but she’s also coming off the biggest win of her career as she defeated Ruby Soho on the July 29 episode of AEW Rampage. Not to stack the bill too much against Meyers, but Anna Jay also has a very recent win over her in a match that went just over two minutes. I see Anna Jay putting forth a dominant effort and continuing her ascension up the rankings following AEW Dark.
