Karrion Kross made his return to WWE tonight on Smackdown! The return happened while Roman Reigns was to confront Drew McIntyre in the ring ahead of their WWE Undisputed Universal Championship match at Clash at the Castle. A surprise and ominous theme song came playing across the arena and low and behold, Scarlet Bordeaux, carried the famed Hour Glass as a returning Karrion Kross attacked the number one contender.

This is Kross’ return to WWE and his first appearance in a WWE ring since his unceremonious release back on November 4th, alongside valet and wife Scarlett. As for Scarlett, this is their debut on the main roster. As the valet of Kross as the duo was separated under the prior regime before Kross’ debut during the 19th of July 2021 edition of Raw, losing to Jeff Hardy.
Kross is a former two-time NXT Champion. Kross spent time in NXT from March 2020 until July of 2021, making his final NXT appearance in August of 2021 at NXT Takeover 36. He began appearing on the main roster in September of 2021 before being released in November. After his release from WWE, he returned to the independent scene where he appeared in promotions such as MLW, CYN, NJPW, and others.
Now that Kross and Scarlet are back on the main roster of WWE they will be a force to deal with. We will see how the next couple of weeks plays out for the returning duo.
