Other News
Cole Karter Returns

— JJ Williams (@JJWilliamsWON) July 16, 2022
Fresh off his release from NXT 2.0 the man formerly known as “Two Dimes” is back in AEW under his old moniker Cole Karter. Karter made a number of appearances on Dark before being signed by the WWE but is now back in the fold with AEW at an opportune time.
Kayla Rossi Repackaged
Last time fans saw Kayla Rossi she was managing Joey Janela. She made quite the impact when possible including her memorable moonsault foot stomp to Sonny Kiss. It appears that Rossi will now be part of the women’s division and she has a manager of her own in The Diamond Shiek.
Truthbusters
Ari Daivari not only got a new name and gimmick but he has a faction of his own. Now accompanied by Slim-J and Parker Boudreaux the trio are called the Truthbusters. If we had to guess this faction will be a part of the new Ring of Honor based on the quick push during this taping to give them wins and promo time, but time will tell on that.
Baliyan Akki Debuts
Fans of DDT, ChocoPro/Gatoh Move, and even Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling will recognize Akki who is on an excursion to America currently. Akki’s most notable work has been in ChocoPro/Gatoh Move where he is a former Super Asia tag champion, but he is also one of the voices of TJPW where he provides English commentary.
Deeb’s Dojo

— JJ Williams (@JJWilliamsWON) July 16, 2022
When images of Deeb’s Dojo flag emerged many fans rushed to speculate that Deeb would be heading up a faction. While that is likely, she has in the past run seminars under the Deeb’s Dojo moniker and intends to open a training school of the same name. The flag may just be an attempt to advertise the brand ahead of an opening.
