The 5STAR Grand Prix blocks for the 2022 edition of the tournament have been announced. The tournament pits some of the best wrestlers in all of Stardom and the wider Joshi world against one another in a gruelling round-robin tournament. The Blue Stars block is a real murderer’s row this year with some of the biggest names in the company all colliding. The headline match there is no doubt the long-awaited clash between former Ice Ribbon compatriots Giulia and Suzu Suzuki, although Suzuki has a litany of dream matches awaiting her in that block.
The 5STAR Grand Prix blocks also offer up a rematch between Syuri and Utami Hayashishita, two women who set the world ablaze with their series of matches in 2021. After a few months away from one another, they will once again do battle in the most gruelling women’s wrestling tournament of the year.
