It’s time for AEW Dark, and it is a stacked card. We have eight matches loaded with great talent, which looks to deliver a fantastic night of action. Jake Something makes his Dark return, taking on Matt Sydal in what should be a fun match-up. Athena makes her first appearance on Dark as she takes on Dark regular Amber Nova. Our focus, though, will be on the AEW Dark return of Ariya Daivari as he takes on debuting IMPACT Wrestling alum Caleb Konley.

Ariya Daivari vs. Caleb Konley
Ariya Daivari makes his return to Dark. The last time we saw him, he teamed with fellow Dark standout Invictus Khash in a loss to Top Flight. Now he looks to build momentum as a singles competitor in his match-up with Caleb Konley on AEW Dark. Konley will be a familiar face to many as he was a regular fixture of IMPACT Wrestling from 2016 to 2022.
During his time in IMPACT, Konley often found himself playing second fiddle first to Trevor Lee (now Cameron Grimes), followed by a run as Tenille Dashwood’s personal photographer. It would be with Dashwood, though, where Konley would begin the best run of his career. Rebranded Kaleb with a K, he was a regular fixture on IMPACT, appearing alongside Dashwood and Madison Rayne as part of The Influence. It is also notable he performed as the masked character Suicide during his run, facing the likes of Josh Alexander and Ace Austin under the mask.
This one is a toss-up; however, I will pick the returning Daivari in this one. Regardless of who wins, I expect everyone involved to deliver a solid show, so be sure to tune in!
