After the monumental AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door, we slow things down a little bit with this episode of AEW Dark: Elevation. With eight matches, this looks to be a solid night of action. Dark Order’s Anna Jay is in action as she takes on the returning Heather Reckless. Speaking of Dark Order, Evil Uno, Ten, and Alex Reynolds are set to take on the white-hot Max Caster and the Ass Boys… I mean Gunn Club. Our focus though will be on tag-team action as the debuting CJ Esparza and Brubaker draw a tough out as they face House of Black members Brody King and Buddy Matthews on AEW Dark: Elevation.

CJ Esparza and Brubaker vs. House of Black’s Brody King and Buddy Matthews
CJ Esparza and Brubaker look to overcome the odds as they face the dominant Brody King and Budd Matthews of House of Black on AEW Dark: Elevation. Esparza and Brubaker are well-traveled veterans but have made their impact in the mid-western scene, particularly in the promotion of Chicago Style Wrestling. Though they have not teamed together since October of last year, they do at least have familiar chemistry that should help them in this match.
Unfortunately for the debuting duo, that will not be enough when facing King and Matthews. The House of Black has been a dominant force since coming together, and I firmly expect this to be the start of their climb up the tag team ranks.
