AEW Dark Elevation Spoilers for June 20, 2022

  • Serena Deeb & Mercedes Martinez defeated Tootie Lynn & Heather Reckless
  • Andrade El Idolo defeated Frankie Kazarian
  • Nyla Rose & Marina Shafir defeated Max the Impaler & Heidi Howitzer
  • Swerve Strickland & Keith Lee defeated Davey Vega & Matt Fitchett
  • Anna Jay (w/ Dark Order) defeated Rebel
  • Tony Nese (w/ Smart Mark Sterling) defeated Warhorse
  • Ruby Soho defeated Miranda Gordy
  • Matt Sydal defeated QT Marshall

Serena Deeb and Ring of Honor Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez have only wrestled twice as a team but thus far they seem like a well-oiled machine. It seems AEW may see some long-term potential in the pairing as the two have had the opportunity to face local talent in each of their two matches, recently defeating Tootie Lynn and Heather Reckless. Speaking of tag teams, Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee picked up their fifth win as a tag team but it seems from the reports that this team could be coming to an end. Despite winning yet again as a duo, according to reports, Lee didn’t seem happy with his Swerve In Our Glory teammate.

Two weeks ago, Warhorse returned to AEW for the first time in over a year. With his match taped on Wednesday night, it marks the first time Warhorse will have wrestled two matches for AEW in the same calendar year. Miranda Gordy also returned to take on Ruby Soho, while Max the Impaler and Heidi Howitzer were back in action in a tag team match against Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir.

Of the matches on the card, only Matt Sydal vs QT Marshall, Anna Jay vs Rebel, and Andrade El Idolo vs Frankie Kazarian saw two AEW contracted wrestlers go head-to-head. These matches were likely more competitive than some of the other Elevation clashes, though no report has noted the extent of any of these bouts.
