While many have reported Stu Grayson’s likely AEW departure, the Dark Order original confirmed today that he is no longer under AEW contract. This is a heartbreaking departure for many as Stu Grayson has become beloved both by the fans and fellow wrestlers in the locker room.

Stu Grayson Announces Departure From AEW
What to Know Following Company Departure
Stu Grayson debuted alongside Evil Uno at AEW’s first official pay-per-view, Double or Nothing, on May 25, 2019, almost three years ago. What would become the beloved Dark Order had a rough start between fans being unsure of who they were and the botched beatdown of The Elite; the writing seemed to be on the wall for the Dark Order to fade away.
However, thanks to the leadership of the late Brodie Lee and the natural comedic chops of the rest of the Dark Order, the faction has grown to be one of the most over acts in all of wrestling. Grayson became beloved both for his recurring BTE skits and his fantastic in-ring work.
The commentary team often put over the athleticism of the Quebec native, but his technical ability cannot be overlooked. It will be interesting to see how Dark Order moves forward without one of its original members. While Grayson will most likely appear beside them at independent shows and will tag regularly with longtime partner in Uno, it’ll be tough not seeing him regularly featured on AEW.
The good news is it appears the two parted way amicably, so here’s hoping the two are able to do business down the road.
