This week’s AEW Rampage was taped after an eventful AEW Dynamite that featured the return of Rey Fenix and the announcement that Deonna Purrazzo will be on Dynamite next week to defend the ROH Women’s Championship. AEW Rampage continues its recent trend of being loaded up so let’s take a look at the AEW Rampage spoilers for this week.

AEW Rampage Spoilers for April 29, 2022

The Owen Qualifier – Darby Allin vs Swerve Strickland

Darby Allin defeated Swerve Strickland to advance to the Owen Hart tournament. Ricky Starks on commentary tried to interfere but was stopped by Sting

Jade Cargill, Red Velvet & Kiera Hogan vs Trish Adora, Willow Nightingale & Sky Blue

Jade Cargill and her Baddies won the match. Kiera Hogan was noted for carrying the majority of the workload for her team.

Santana & Ortiz

Ortiz and Santana attacked Chris Jericho at the commentary desk to gain some revenge

Keith Lee vs Colten Gunn

Keith Lee defeated Colten Gunn. Austin Gunn tried to run interference a number of times with Lee eventually getting his hands on both brothers and winning in fairly dominant fashion.

HOOK & Danhausen

Before much could happen with HOOK and Danhausen, Smart Mark Sterling came out for a distraction which allowed Tony Nese to attack. HOOK inevitably cleaned house leaving just him and Danhausen in the ring. Danhausen wanted a handshake but HOOK walked off.

ROH TV Championship – Samoa Joe (c) vs Trent Beretta

Samoa Joe defeated Trent Beretta to retain the ROH TV Championship. Bobby Cruise was brought in for ring announcing duties for the match. Post match, Tony Schiavone attempted to interview Joe but Jay Lethal and his crew showed up. Orange Cassidy got involved in a brawl that allowed Joe and Lethal to come directly to blows before the heels scurried away.
