NXT UK’s First Back Alley Brawl
The animosity between Sam Gradwell and Kenny Williams has been getting more and more intense over the past weeks. Williams cut off Gradwell’s mohawk in a match a few months ago, and Gradwell has since trashed Williams’ car, put cockroaches in his bag and left him mean notes on his locker. Gradwell has now demanded Williams meets him in a back alley for a massive brawl this week on NXT UK.
2 Out Of 3 Falls For NXT UK Tag Team Championships
Trent Seven publically declared there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to win and keep hold of the NXT UK Tag Team Championships. True to his word, Seven has used uncharacteristically nefarious ways to prevent Smith & Carter from first winning the titles and then earning a rematch.
Sid Scala has rewarded Smith & Carter with one more shot at the titles held by Seven and Tyler Bate. A best 2 Out Of 3 falls match will mean Smith & Carter will have to pull off the performance of their lives to win the gold.
Anything Else?
Emilia McKenzie and Stevie Turner had a little spat in the locker room last week. We can expect to see them settle this dispute this week. That should be all the in-ring action.
No NXT UK preview would be complete with eyeing potential backstage altercations. Jordan Devlin and Ilja Dragunov’s rivalry for the latter’s NXT UK Championship will take a further development. Isla Dawn may also give us a clue as to what her ‘domain’ that she’ll meet NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura in will look like.
