Nathan Frazer has left NXT UK for the warmer shores of Orlando and NXT 2.0. Frazer is the latest top NXT UK star to leave the brand for NXT 2.0 this year. A-Kid and Pretty Deadly have also moved to NXT 2.0.
A-Kid, although still appearing on pre-taped episodes of NXT UK, made the move to NXT 2.0 last month. It is unclear how long A-Kid will appear on both brands.
Frazer, on the other hand, confirmed on Twitter that he is full-time in the U.S. following his debut vignette on NXT 2.0. It is no surprise that the fast-paced and high-flying Frazer was wanted by WWE stateside. Trained by Seth Rollins’s Black & Brave Wrestling Academy, he has long been touted as a star for the future.
Oh yeah, I live in Orlando now.
The weather is lovely. #WWENXT

Nathan Frazer is NXT 2.0 Bound
Major Hole
Frazer moving to the US does leave a major hole in NXT UK. Frazer and A-Kid were two of the most exciting performers on the brand with their matches regularly getting people talking and drawing attention to NXT UK. Their departures also add to the issue of credible competition for the NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov. Frazer’s last match in NXT UK was a match of the year contender against Dragunov.
Dragunov has already defeated Frazer, A-Kid, Rampage Brown, and Jordan Devlin. He seems on a collision course to face Devlin again but – presuming he is victorious – it leaves no serious contenders for the top prize in NXT UK.
New Stars Needed in NXT UK
NXT UK needs to build up a new main event star to fill the void left by Frazer’s departure. Teoman is one talent that could be on course for a major push. He has spent most of his first year with the brand building momentum and establishing his faction Die Familie. But he seems more focused on an ongoing feud with Gallus than championship gold.
The major independent name NXT UK should go for is former PROGRESS Champion Cara Noir. Noir’s unique black swan gimmick is backed up by incredible in-ring work. He has already had great matches with Dragunov in PROGRESS and now could be the time for NXT UK to bring him in.
Pretty Deadly And Other Departed NXT UK Stars
Pretty Deadly’s departure from NXT UK also sees the brand lose two of its most charismatic and entertaining performers. The duo’s work as NXT UK Tag Team Champions between February and November 2021 was exceptional as they entertained both in the ring and with their comedy skits.
Pretty Deadly changed their names from Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley to Kit Wilson and Elton Prince and won the NXT Tag Team Championship in their second appearance on NXT 2.0. It is a sign of how highly the work of the performers in NXT UK is held by the WWE producers in the U.S.

Frazer will be hoping for a similar push to Pretty Deadly. He’ll also eye the path that Gunther, Pete Dunne, Doudrop, Rhea Ripley, and Ridge Holland have all gone on to the main roster. We may very well see that dream match with Seth Rollins sooner than later.
