Nyla Rose vs. Robyn Renegade
Nyla Rose looks to continue her dominant run against the always tough Robyn Renegade. While Robyn is a familiar face to regular Dark viewers, she recently received her biggest opportunity against then AEW Women’s Champion Dr. Britt Baker. Renegade impressed many in her Rampage debut and pushed Baker more than most expected.
However, Nyla Rose has been on a dominant run. A former AEW Women’s Champion, she has been on the warpath attempting to get back in the title picture. She only tasted defeat five times in her 2021 run while picking up victories over top contenders Hikaru Shida, Ruby Soho, and current AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa.
She also picked up victories over Robyn and her sister/other half of the Renegade Twins Charlette. While Roby has clearly improved since the last time these two met, I still have to go with the “Native Beast” Nyla Rose to pick up the win.
Deathmatch Beast MASADA Debuts
In one of the nights big surprises deathmatch veteran MASADA debuts in AEW against the Gunn Club. There are few men in the deathmatch scene as accomplished as MASADA, who boasts wins in the Nick Gage Invitational, King of the Death Match, and Tournament of Death. MASADA will need all of his experience if he is to come away with a result against Austin and Colten Gunn of the Gunn Club.
