The Last Shot
reDRagon managed to snag a spot in the three-way dance for the World Tag Team Titles at Revolution. They join the field alongside the champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus. Kyle O’ Reilly stayed in the match long enough, after his partner Bobby Fish was eliminated earlier, and won the battle royal, last eliminating John Silver and Matt Jackson.
Post-match, there was a bit of friction amongst The Elite after O’Reilly’s actions. We’ll get to that in a little bit. For now, there is one more spot up for grabs, and the teams eliminated from the Tag Team Battle Royale has one final shot at securing their spot at the big event. Which team will advance and punch their ticket to Revolution? Find out at the Revolution go-home show of AEW Dynamite.
Inner Turmoil
Right after the Tag Team Battle Royale, AEW World Champion Hangman Page hit the ring to exact a measure of revenge against O’Reilly and Fish after their sneak attack last week. Adam Cole tried to ward off the champion, but to no avail. Meanwhile, The Young Bucks, still reeling from the events that transpired, stood idly by as Page handed a beating to reDRagon that ended with a colossal Buckshot Lariat to O’Reilly.
However, it did not end there. It was time for a little story time with Adam Page, Baybay! To cut a long story short, Page will give Adam Cole the beating of a lifetime at Revolution in their AEW World Championship match, proving once and for all, who really is the superior “Adam.” Later in the night, it was made official. It’ll be Adam Cole and reDRagon facing off against Adam Page and Dark Order’s John Silver and Alex Reynolds.
Folks, this Trios match might be a tune-up for the big fight that’s about to commence this Sunday night. However, don’t sleep on it. This match has the potential to steal the show Wednesday night, with tensions reaching it’s fever pitch. Do not miss a second of it, as it all goes down this Wednesday night on Revolution go-home show only on TBS!
