The Ass Boys: Coming Soon
This news will not be surprising to anyone who follows any of Austin, Colten and Billy on Twitter. Danhausen, who last week became All Elite following an interference in the main event Lights Out match between Orange Cassidy and Adam Cole on AEW Dynamite, has been referring to Austin and Colten as “the Ass Boys” for some time, in clear reference to them both being the sons of Billy Gunn who was, of course, named “Mr Ass” at the height of the Attitude Era. The story in recent months has seen Danhausen and Billy encouraging Austin and Colten to “embrace the ass” and become the “Ass Boys” instead of the Gunn Club. The younger Gunns have been reluctant to embrace the name but, with Danhausen’s encouragement – which recently brought about a brand new (hilarious) theme song – and the news of Austin filing to trademark the nickname, it looks like the “Ass Boys” might soon arrive. We can’t wait.
