NJPW STRONG RIVALS matches

The NJPW STRONG RIVALS card is getting bigger with new matches announced for the brand’s return to the Vermont in Hollywood California.

New Matches Set For NJPW Strong Rivals

Rocky Romero vs. Black Tiger

A long-awaited confrontation between Rocky Romero and Black Tiger will take place. The latest incarnation of the famous Black Tiger persona made his debut in Philadelphia by assaulting Romero with a kendo stick and joining ranks of Team Filthy in the process. Since then two wrestlers faced each other in a series of six-man tag matches with Romero determined to unmask a mysterious figure from his past. He will finally have a chance to do so during a single match. Or maybe menacing, filthy Black Tiger will keep staying ahead of him?

Yuya Uemura vs. Daniel Garcia

After his match with Brody King at New Beginning USA, Yuya Uemura will test himself against Daniel Garcia, who will be making his first appearance in STRONG in 2022. Uemura continues to impress and improve himself with every singles match. He is looking to continue this trend by defeating Garcia at the Vermont.

Kevin Blackwood vs. Ariya Daivari

Kevin Blackwood will be making his NJPW STRONG debut against Ariya Daivari. With five years of experience, Blackwood is looking to make a name for himself by beating Daivari. Daivari is looking to start a new chapter of his career on STRONG. Impressing the audience with his desire to be a clean wrestling competitor Daivari found himself in the losing column and will try to change his luck by defeating Blackwood.

Hikuleo vs. Kevin Knight

The LA Dojo’s Young Lion Kevin Knight and Bullet Club’s Young Gun Hikuelo are no strangers to one another, as they met a few times on the STRONG. What’s more interesting, their first meeting happened during Hikuleo’s debut match back in December of 2020. Now, 14 months later,  they meet again to see who will come out on top.
