WWE Raw Preview 01/10/22 – Alexa Bliss Return

Alexa Bliss Return

WWE Monday Night Raw comes to us from the Wells Fargo Arena of Philadelphia, PA. After a week with nothing promoted, we now go back to a set amount of promoted things. Here we go with what’s to expect for tonight. This week’s show has a lot to get to, including the return of Alexa Bliss. Let’s run down the card.

WWE Raw Preview 01/10/22 – Alexa Bliss Return

Raw Tag Team Title Match

Following weeks of interactions, attacks, and brawls, Alpha Academy will receive a shot at the Raw Tag Team titles currently held by RK-Bro. Matt Riddle has spent a long time trying to impress his partner Randy Orton with varying degrees of success. Meanwhile, the team of Otis and Chad Gable has always been close to the action for months already and getting nothing. That changes tonight.

3 Way Contenders Match For Raw Women’s Title

Bianca Belair, Doudrop, and Liv Morgan fight for the chance to challenge Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble. Bianca Belair unsuccessfully spent the entire autumn chasing after Lynch but afterward was able to defeat Doudrop to find herself back in the title hunt. Can’t really say the same for Doudrop coming off losses to Belair, or Morgan coming off two straight losses to Lynch. But that would never stop WWE.

Alexa Bliss Makes Her Return

Prepare yourselves. Alexa Bliss is on her way back to TV. Regardless of if you like her Fiend-inspired gimmick or not, WWE seems to have some sort of plan for her return. It appears to be vignettes. We’ll have to wait and see until tonight to see if it’s some Alexa’s Playground-styled promo or if she is shifting characters.

Brock Lesnar’s Long-Streak Continues

It feels we’ve seen more of Brock Lesnar in the past few months than we have in years. Especially now as he’s appearing on Raw and Smackdown back-to-back. He returns tonight to confront his Royal Rumble opponent, Bobby Lashley en route to their finally happening dream match at said event. Armed with Paul Heyman while Lashley is armed with MVP, it’ll without a doubt be an interesting segment with strong words fired from both sides.

What About Seth?

With no real given explanation, Seth Rollins was just named Roman Reigns’ opponent for the Royal Rumble. He’s technically a part of Raw still with no real trades announced.  Will Seth still have a role on Raw en route to the Royal Rumble? Would WWE really pass up the excuse to have Roman Reigns on both shows after the proven rating success of doing it with Brock Lesnar?

That’s what Raw seems ready to offer tonight. Let’s see how things go down on the USA Network.
