The week-long Holiday Bash celebration kicks off with a special edition of this Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite. All Elite Wrestling brings the season’s cheers as well as some #AllElite action to keep fans satisfied all throughout the Winter break. Let us take the time and applaud every competitor in that AEW locker room for giving us such great memories and matches all year long as well as providing us the entertainment that we enjoy even as Christmas is fast approaching. This will surely be another smoldering-hot episode of everyone’s mid-week wrestling habit.
On the Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite, The ruler of “The House of Black” rises from the abyss to take on an infuriated team member of the Varsity Blonds. “The Freshly Squeezed One” takes on the favorite son of The Elite as this bloody battle kicks up another notch on Dynamite. Plus, The Pinnacle takes on one hell of a dream team as “The Best In The World” teams up with “The Icon” and one of the four pillars of AEW. There will be a lot more to unwrap under the fruitful Christmas tree of All Elite Wrestling. So, knockback a couple of eggnogs. Eat some delicious Christmas ham and plant your butt on the couch. It’s Wednesday night, and you know what that means! Time for some AEW Dynamite! Let’s run it down.

Giving Into The Darkness
Griff Garrison of The Varsity Blonds willingly steps into the ring, seeking revenge, as he goes up against the patriarch of “The House of Black” Malakai Black. No sane person alive would dare challenge Malakai to a matchup. However, Garrison is a man out of options and a bone to pick. Black would spray Varsity Blond member Julia Hart with the black mist and that was more than enough for Griff Garrison to lose his cool and pick a fight with the dangerous Malakai Black.
This seems like something that Malakai wanted all along; another soul to enter his trenches. Brian Pillman Jr. tried to talk Garrison out of this bout. But, Griff was having none of it and proceeded to quarrel with his best mate and tag-team partner. It seems like anyone and everyone who unconsciously plays Malakai’s game gets hurt. Ask Cody Rhodes or PAC, for that matter. Malakai Black feeds on anger and disdain and Griff Garrison just played right into his hands. Garrison needs to bring all he’s willing to give. Because, if he doesn’t, he will just be another victim in this quest for darkness to reign supreme. Will Griff Garrison survive and avenge Julia Hart or will Malakai Black just add Griff Garrison’s name on his list of casualties? Find out at the Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite.
The Enemy Of My Enemy
Fans are in for a treat as, for one night only, Darby Allin and CM Punk put aside their differences and team up with Sting as they take on FTR and MJF of The Pinnacle. Punk came to the aid of Sting & Darby on last week’s Dynamite as Darby & Sting themselves hit the ring and evened out the odds for Dante Martin. On last week’s Winter Is Coming, MJF became a three-time winner of the Dynamite Diamond Ring and proceeded to rub salt into the wounds by assaulting Dante with the help of FTR right after the match. With a battered Martin, Sting and Allin got outnumbered themselves and that’s when Punk ran in to assist them, with a steel chair in hand, to drive off the wolves. CM Punk laid down the gauntlet and downright challenged The Pinnacle members to Trios Action on this week’s Holiday Bash. Punk made it explicitly clear that this match will be happening regardless of whether they want it to or not. And, that’s when Tony Khan made the match official as the show came to a close.
As we all know, Punk and Allin have a history. They absolutely battered each other back at All Out in an all-out war in what was Punk’s return match after seven years away. These two have mutual respect and are willing enough to let bygones be bygones, at least for now. Punk wants MJF’s head and Sting and Darby want FTR. It’s killing two birds with one stone and providing fans with a dream team-up in the process. Not to mention, this is going to be Sting’s first match in Greensboro, North Carolina in 27 years. When the stars align, they align well. It’s The Pinnacle’s three top guys versus Punk, Allin, and, “The Icon” Sting. Something’s got to give. Holiday Bash will be a special one and this is just one of the big reasons. Don’t miss it live on TNT!
