NXT 2.0 rolls on but with a direction for the first time since Halloween Havoc. As announced during last week’s episode, War Games will return for the NXT brand in an all-new special. Not only should we expect the build to kick into full gear Tuesday night, but the picture should be clear as to who will be entering the double-ring structure. Tuesday night’s edition of the show has a massive main event set between two rivals while Tony D’Angelo has his first true challenge. Here’s a look at the WWE NXT 2.0 card.
NXT 2.0 Card (11/15/21)
— Odyssey Jones & Jacket Time (KUSHIDA & Ikemen Jiro) vs. Diamond Mine (Roderick Strong & The Creed Brothers)
— Cameron Grimes and Duke Hudson Face Each Other in Poker
— Dexter Lumis vs. Tony D’Angelo
— Raquel Gonzalez vs. Dakota Kai
Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai Look To Put Rivalry To Rest
In a surprising announcement, NXT has revealed that Raquel Gonzalez will go head-to-head against Dakota Kai on Tuesday night. Fans will not have to wait to see Gonzalez-Kai II at a TakeOver event and it should be one of the few must-see matches that NXT 2.0 has in their first few months. As seen at Halloween Havoc, Kai returned and cost Gonzalez the NXT Women’s Championship when she smashed her in the back with a shovel. This, of course, was payback following Kai’s loss at NXT TakeOver: 36. These two were once best of friends it seemed, having each other’s back at all times. Now, these two will be trying to destroy the other. Gonzalez is looking for a chance to get back in the title hunt while all Kai is aiming for is redemption.
It’s worth noting that Kai showed a new side to her in the first match back where she defeated upstart Cora Jade. She was seemingly dealing with something inside her head as the decision to end Jade’s career with a table was considered by Kai. That new side could come into play Tuesday night.
