GCW Invades ROH as Second Gear Crew Looks To Reclaim GCW Tag Team Titles

Second Gear Crew ROH Honor For All

On Tuesday, Ring of Honor revealed the card for ROH Honor For All, one of the last ROH events of the year before the company goes on hiatus until the new year after ROH Final Battle. It was announced that two members of Second Gear Crew – the indie stable most famous for its presence in Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) for the past few years – would be heading to ROH to try and reclaim the GCW Tag Team titles that were lost to the 11x ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes at GCW War Ready last month. The Briscoes defeated the SGC duo of Matthew Justice and Mance Warner for the belts, but this past Sunday, Warner was seriously injured, leaving a rematch out of the question (for now). But as revealed on Monday, Second Gear Crew has plenty of back-up in its ranks, and at ROH Honor For All on November 14, 2021, they’ll be sending the duo of AJ Gray & EFFY to ROH to try and bring the tag team titles back home.

While GCW has seen plenty of its roster appear with ROH, such as Tony Deppen, these first-time GCW wrestlers will compete for ROH in a match that has direct consequences for GCW themselves. In the past, GCW regulars such as Deppen, Alex Zayne, and others have competed in an ROH ring, but when AJ Gray and EFFY hit the ring at ROH Honor For All, they will be competing for GCW in an ROH ring.
