AEW Dynamite returns to Wednesday nights as the loaded show emanates from the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts. All Elite Wrestling, once again, will serve fans a heavy dose of #AllElite action as the first round of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament concludes and the TBS Championship Tournament continues. The TNT Championship will be on the line and stakes exceed far past claiming the title for themselves as “The Spanish God” takes on “All Ego.” Last, but not least, Bobby Fish takes on CM Punk in the latter’s in-ring Dynamite debut. That’s only a taste of what’s to come on AEW’s flagship program. You better not miss it since “It’s Wednesday night, and you know what that means!” time for some Dynamite. Let’s run it down.

A Shot To Advance & Revenge
Things have gotten personal between Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb as of late. Deeb initially prevented Shida from winning her 50th win in AEW and making history as the first female performer to do such a historic feat. After the said match, Deeb rubbed salt to the wounds as she smashed the 50th win plaque in front of Shida’s beaten-down body. The situation just escalated from there as Shida would attack “The Woman of a Thousand Holds” right in the middle of a backstage interview by Tony Schiavone. It’s only fitting that these two women meet in the first round of the TBS Championship Tournament.
Not only do they have a chance at advancing and possibly winning the whole tourney, but they will be looking to level one another and exact some much-needed revenge. Both women have a lot to prove and both have a chip on their shoulders. Who will come out on top? Will Hikaru Shida finally put her rival in her place or will we be experiencing deja vu as Serena Deeb conquers Shida and be one step closer to championship gold?

Tempting Fate
“The Infamous” Bobby Fish has been laying out bodies left and right since he entered the AEW scene not too long ago. Impressive showings against Bryan Danielson and Sammy Guevara further cemented how dangerous he can be as he took both men to the limit. The weeks that followed further established how legitimate Fish really is. Recently, he dismantled Lee Moriarty and, more recently, Anthony Greene. Fish’s vicious side did not bode well for the latter. He hit The Last Rites kick and took care of Greene in record time on last Saturday’s Dynamite. Even after the bell sounded, Fish would carry out the attack and go to heinous lengths to prove a point; he’s dangerous and virtually untouchable. That was until CM Punk hit the ring to put a stop to this mugging. Fish hightailed on out of the ring and lived to fight another day. Punk was just having it and found it unnecessary for a competitor of Fish’s caliber to stoop so low. The two men locked eyes, signaling the inevitability of a battle between the two.
Surely enough, Tony Khan sanctioned the match for this edition of Dynamite. CM Punk makes his in-ring Dynamite debut this Wednesday night. This is going to be a fierce war between two wrestlers considered to be the best of their generation. And, it happens this Wednesday night Dynamite, live on TNT!
