“The Runaway” Travels Down The Rabbit Hole
The introduction of the new TBS Championship in the AEW Women’s Division has everyone buzzing with excitement. Everyone wants to earn a spot in that TBS Championship Tournament come January of 2022. The prospect of being the first-ever champion of this newly unveiled crown will make anyone want to work their hardest. Having the chance to write your name in the history books and, in the process, win gold is just too good to let slip. This Friday night, two of AEW’s best will go head to head and significantly improve their chances of being one of the lucky competitors to possibly compete in the tourney.
Ruby Soho, who recently won the Casino Battle Royale, had one hell of a match against AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. Meanwhile, The Bunny has been such a destructive force, as evidenced by her onslaught against Anna Jay and Tay Conti over the past month. Soho and The Bunny are two women with credentials, each with a chip on their shoulder. Only one can come out on top. Will The Bunny be the bump in the road in “The Runaway’s” journey or will Ruby Soho prove why she is, in fact, Elite?
Who Is AEW’s Top Team?
The moment Dan Lambert was handed a microphone in AEW, he has not stopped talking since. Lambert continuously lambasted All Elite Wrestling and its fans; he did not see quality but fanaticism being the reason for AEW’s meteoric success. Lambert even aligned himself with misguided but like-minded people like Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. With their assistance, Lambert orchestrated some heinous attacks against AEW’s premier faction The Inner Circle. Chris Jericho and his men were just so sick and tired of American Top Team’s head honcho spewing out hate that they needed to shut him up once and for all. What did Jericho and Jake Hager get for their troubles? A beatdown from the American Top Team and a devastating knee for Jericho courtesy of Jorge Masvidal.
The time for talk is over. In the hometown of American Top Team, Miami. War will rage on as The Inner Circle, with Jericho, Hager, and, TNT Champion Sammy Guevara, takes on the Men Of The Year and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos. The MMA heavyweight will be making his professional wrestling debut and it’s going to be a fight. It all goes down Friday night on TNT! Don’t miss it!
