NXT UK’s top stars will meet this week in a stacked show that features Trent Seven, Tyler Bate, Joe Coffey, Jordan Devlin, Dani Luna, Xia Brookside, and many more. There’s also the debut of a rebranded superstar to look forward to. All the champions may have the week off but the biggest stars without titles will all be present. Take a look at our full preview of NXT UK below.

NXT UK Card (9/30/2021)

  • Moustache Mountain vs. Ashton Smith &Oliver Carter
  • Dani Luna vs. Xia Brookside
  • Charlie Dempsey vs. Josh Terry
  • Joe Coffey vs. Jordan Devlin

Speed Meets Strength In Brookside vs. Luna

Dani Luna was working out with some barbell squats last week, whilst Mark Andrews cut an interview about how strong she was. Xia Brookside took this opportunity to challenge Luna to a match. Brookside admitted Luna had the strength but questioned if she had the speed to keep up with her.

This should be a great mix of styles between Brookside’s speed and Luna’s power and strength. Luna can move though and should be too much for Brookside.

Regal’s Son To Make Debut With New Name

Charlie Dempsey will make his debut after undergoing a name change as he takes on Josh Terry. Dempsey is the son of wrestling legend William Regal and previously appeared on NXT UK under the moniker Bailey Matthews.

He looked impressive in that match against Tyler Bate and has promised to show NXT UK “proper holds” and “old school wrestling” that will seem new.

Carter And Smith To Climb Moustache Mountain

Oliver Carter’s insistence that the Book End was a better move than the Rock Bottom led to a jovial debate with Trent Seven. Seven said it proved how young he was and that they weren’t at the level of himself and Tyler Bate. Smith and Carter took up Seven on his challenge of a tag match.

Devlin Hopes To Put A Stop To Gallus’s Teasing

Across the UK, students have been settling into their university halls of residences over the past week. But for the past few weeks, the Gallus boys have been acting like a gang of obnoxious freshers at the expense of Jordan Devlin. They have sung songs outside of his dressing room when he’s been trying to get a massage, helped themselves to his coffee, and locked him out of his own room. Devlin has played the role well of the serious student that wants to knuckle down whilst the Coffey brothers and Wolfgang are great as lads having fun and annoying everyone else.

Devlin will take on Joe Coffey this week. If the build to this seems a bit too light-hearted and silly, don’t expect anything like that in the ring. Coffey and Devlin both tend to have universally great matches so this should be a cracking main event.
