Lio Rush Officially Signs With AEW

Lio Rush is All Elite

Lio Rush is officially #AllElite, as announced by AEW following his promo on Dynamite. “The Man of the Hour” appeared in a video, explaining that after weeks of Tony Khan trying to get him to join, he has decided to make the jump. Rush had announced earlier this year that he was planning to retire from professional wrestling following an injury that he suffered during the Casino Battle Royale at Double or Nothing when he entered as the Joker. He has since then continued to work as part of New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), which he signaled was going to happen until he completed his contracted dates. While there is no guarantee that this is a sign that those retirement plans have been put on hold, one would believe the signing of a contract would mean he had second thoughts.

What Lio Rush brings to the table for AEW is one of the most athletic and exciting wrestlers in the world. His mixture of high-speed maneuvers and hard-hitting strikes makes him an asset to anyone. In his announcement that he was coming to AEW, he has promised to bring his big business style in hopes of getting to the top. Calling himself “LBO” Lio, Rush makes it clear that his “Leverage Buyout” mindset will be what sets him apart from everyone else.

It will be interesting to see what “The Man of the Hour” does moving forward now that he is #AllElite.
