Kushida vs Roderick Strong WWE NXT 2.0 card / WWE NXT results

The talk of the wrestling world for almost 24 hours straight was the new version of NXT. Known as NXT 2.0, the show brought a whole new look and feel to the brand so many loved in an attempt to find the future. With names like Bron Breakker and Von Wagner popping up and making splashes instantly, it became adamant that this is nothing close to the NXT so many fell in love with. Change can be a good thing though and it should be for the brand that desperately needed it. It’s hard to predict what we expect tonight but a title match against two NXT veterans should ease everyone for the time being. Here’s a look at the WWE NXT 2.0 card as it stands.

A battle in the makings for months now, the NXT Cruiserweight Championship will be on the line as KUSHIDA defends against Diamond Mine‘s Roderick Strong. KUSHIDA has been one of the best champions in the history of the reincarnated title, showing that it doesn’t limit him but allows him to show how incredible he is as a professional wrestler. It has made former NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong want to chase after the title, further proving that KUSHIDA has gotten the job done as champion. Strong will have Diamond Mine backing him in this one, which could be the crutch he needs to not only get the advantage on KUSHIDA but possibly win the title for the first time in his career. In the new age of NXT, this match should remind people of the golden era of the brand.
