NXT UK Card (9/16/21) – Kenny Williams vs Noam Dar

  • NXT UK Tag Team Championship: Pretty Deadly (c) vs Gallus
  • Heritage Cup No. 1 Contender Tournament Semifinal: Kenny Williams vs Noam Dar

Kenny Williams vs Noam Dar: Scum of the Earth and The Supernova

The first semifinal match of the Heritage Cup No. 1 Contender tournament will take place and it promises to be a sensational match. “Scum of the Earth” Kenny Williams looks to advance to the final by outlasting fellow Scot Noam Dar. Dar believes he is everything Williams wants to be.

Dar’s recent victories over Nathan Frazer and Mark Andrews means he definitely can’t be overlooked. But Williams’s push since his feud with former tag team partner Amir Jordan suggests he will come out on top in this match. Williams is on a 6-0 winning streak since he embraced his inner cockroach and turned on Jordan.

This one is likely to come down to who can bend the rules the best as both men are usually happy to do whatever it takes to get a win.

NXT UK Tag Team Championship: Gallus but Not as You Know

Pretty Deadly will defend their NXT UK Tag Team Championship against Gallus, but the latter won’t be the iteration we are used to. Traditional Wolfgang and Mark Coffey fought for the tag team titles while Joe Coffey focused on personal beef. But with Wolfgang preparing for a semifinal match in the Heritage Cup No.1 Contender tournament against Teoman, it’ll be the Coffey brothers who team up.

Pretty Deadly won the titles from Mark Coffey and Wolfgang in February, but the Gallus firm has waited until seeking revenge.

Joe and Mark Coffey pushed one half of Pretty Deadly, Lewis Howley, in a fountain whilst he was filming a dance with partner Sam Stoker for TikTok. It turns out the perfect moment to begin your quest for revenge is when the champions are recreating a famous dance from Friends

Anything Else?

We will almost certainly get another match, maybe even two. Stevie Turner and Emilia McKenzie had an altercation last week as Turner was badmouthing McKenzie’s mentor and NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura. Turner and McKenzie are set to face off and it may take place this week.
