OVW Legend “Dr. Manbeast” Ted McNaler Makes Cameo Appearance on AEW Dynamite

Ted McNaler Dr. Manbeast AEW Dynamite

On the latest edition of AEW Dynamite, during the segment featuring MJF, Wardlow, and Brian Pillman Jr., seasoned veteran and legend in the business, “Dr. Manbeast” Ted McNaler appeared to the right of Pillman’s sister. Donning a mohawk and wearing his T-shirt, which is available on prowrestlingtees.com, McNaler appeared to be shocked by MJF’s comments about the Pillman family. However, it goes without saying that All Elite Wrestling is still the hottest ticket in town as the show made its way to Cincinnati, Ohio this week.

Ted McNaler is a veteran of the business, spanning over 15 years in the industry. He wrestled hundreds of matches, the majority of them in the famed Ohio Valley Wrestling. McNaler has been around the business and assumed roles ranging from wrestler to manager, as well as from trainer to booker and promoter. McNaler is still involved in the business, working with OVW and now promoting his own wrestling promotion based in Louisville, Kentucky.

You may also remember “Dr. Manbeast” in World Wrestling Entertainment back in 2010. He was a member of CM Punk‘s Straight Edge Society as he was involved in getting his hair cut for the group which also involved Luke Gallows. This act of cutting one’s hair was soon followed by Serena Deeb also getting her hair cut for the faction on another episode of SmackDown that year. Along with Gallows, and Joey Mercury thereafter, Deeb was a long-term member of the Straight Edge Society.

Ted McNaler is currently promoting his Dream Pro Wrestling promotion, as the promotion in question’s first show goes live on September 18, 2021. The show will begin at  7:00 PM EST, with doors opening at 6:30 PM. Tickets are currently on sale here, Some of the talents involved on the card include Eli Isom, Jaylee, Franco Varga, and many others.
