Following his split from Sonny Kiss, Joey Janela has gone through a change of sorts. Not only is he more determined but he is now flanked by a mysterious new manager who has yet to be named on AEW programming. That manager is none other than Kayla Rossi, a woman who comes from the bodybuilding, fitness, and personal trainer world, similar to Jade Cargill. Like Cargill, Rossi is an eye-catching wrestler thanks to her incredible physique.

Kayla Rossi has been bodybuilding since at least 2015 and first competed as a pro figure competitor with the IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness) in 2016 after winning some NPC events in 2015. Her time competing as a bodybuilder came AFTER she was an elite-level international gymnast. While bodybuilding, Rossi trained in Muay Thai and MMA which should help her if she makes the move to a wrestling ring.
Now a personal trainer, Kayla Rossi has been training at the Nightmare Factory, and has seemingly been fast-tracked to the screen alongside Joey Janela. In the brief snippets we have seen of Rossi as a wrestler she is seemingly incredible agile as well as jacked, as she is seen attempting a Sky Twister Press, a move associated with Chaparita ASARI.
While Rossi is likely a wait-and-see prospect more than a sure thing she has the background and seemingly the natural ability to make an impression in professional wrestling, she is in her early 30s and has the time to improve. As evidenced by her appearances, she has a presence and that’s something that can’t be taught.
